Surface treatment The surface to be painted must be clean, free of moisture, acid and alkali, and no oil stains.
Steel with oxide skin: treated to Sa2.5 by blasting or sandblasting, and where sandblasting is not possible, mechanically sanded or chemically treated to remove all floating broken shoulders.
Quick Details
Steel without oxide skin: sandblasted to Sa2.5 or sanded to St3 with air or electric grinding tools.
Welding, flame-cutting or pyrotechnically correcting burnt parts: beaten to St3.
Base material with old paint film: remove the loose old paint film and rust, and sand to St3 level with air or electric sanding tools.
Construction data Ventilation conditions, temperature, paint thickness and other factors will affect the drying time accordingly, the typical data listed is based on the following conditions Re-coat after drying, or wet mix until the paint (paint should not hang).
Recommended number of coating courses 1 course 20-30 μm, 2 courses dry film 40-60 μm
